Work

So, life outside of work...yeah right! Life is work!

I used to think that being a SAHM (Stay at Home Mom) was going to be easy and I'd have plenty of time to devote to Christ and the church and everything else on my "Perfect Mom" Checklist. WRONG! Being a SAHM is the hardest job I could have signed up for. Its a pride swallowing, puke on your clothes every day of your life gig that is a 24 hour circle of poopy diapers and messy house. I have to say though that it is the most rewarding job I have ever had. I love that even when I am at my wits end with Noah, he'll smile and coo at me and melt me right back to the mushy start and break down my wall of anger with one look. It's a humbling experience and I don't know who I'd be without him and my Hubby.

I can say right now in our lives we are still living day to day and I am slowly starting to adjust and get Noah on a schedule. I have just today found out a long standing problem with feeding Noah and hopefully have found a solution to our feeding dilemmas. So maybe it'll run better here on out. I had to actually break down and call the lactation specialist....yeah, just the thought of the word "lactation" makes me feel like a milk cow.

The past few weeks have brought on only a few amazing changes. Noah recognizes Jordan and me and is starting to smile at us and talk to us. It's is the best feeling you can imagine. It's like an angel chose to talk to you specially and no one else!

Anyway. God is providing for us and faithfully keeping my house, marriage, and motherhood all priority in my life. So I'll leave it at that and leave you all with some pictures.

Gotta love a lactation consultant..they are useful but yes you do feel a little like a cow! Glad to hear that she helped. Your baby is gorgeous! Try not to sweat the small stuff and enjoy all the moments with your little one! They really do grow up too fast! Keep God as a priority and He will help you with the strength you need!

Crys, call me or email me sometime- would love to talk to you about helping Noah get on a schedule (and helping you find time to be Crys, not just momma/milk cow.) I really struggled with this and it really affected my ability to be a good momma.

I highly recommend "Babywise" to help both you and Noah get on a schedule. Seriously, this book pretty much was the only thing that allowed me to keep nursing after week 8. Seriously. After reading this book, things got so much better!

You are doing great and you and Noah will find your way!
