Look what I can do!

I look like my Papa!

Praise God! We were struggling to figure out how we are going to fork over a ton of money for all Noah's doctor visits. We were looking at about $600 for the immunization shots he'll be getting next week and and $240 for the past visits. Thankfully I have found that if you are nice and up front with the billing department then they are more than happy to work with you. We only have to pay $120 for the visit and then $16 per shot. That's all! Not to mention we won't have to pay $900 a month for health care, plus a $1500 deductable! We decided to forgo the health care that Jordan's office provides and pay for this all out of pocket. It's cheaper for us this way. We are going to sign onto a different plan that isn't as expensive as soon as we clear up the existing bills for Noah's birth. It's nice to know that right now we are able to get him in to the doctor and we can afford to do so. God is good to us and he keeps providing beyond our dreams. I am so glad we found the group of doctors that we have. They are amazingly nice to work with and kind people. Please just pray that we find extra ways of making some cash to help pay for all the medical expenses. God is providing some short cuts, but at the end of the day, we still have outstanding bills.

I don't live in Illinois anymore but down here in Missouri if your child needs immunizations and you don't have insurance there are several programs that will pay for the shots. You still have to pay for the visit but it's like 50 dollars as opposed to 700 dollars. You might want to look into if there is something similar in your state! Call your local health department too since the local health clinics often do shots(free or at a reduced rate)! Hope this info helps! Keep your chin up and take comfort in knowing that God never gives you more than you can handle! As someone who is handling a lot lately I definitely know this one to be true!

Wow, that's amazing that your doctors are working so nicely with you!! Praise God for His provision...I'm glad to hear things are being taken care of one at a time...there's certainly no better way to test our ability to trust God completely, is there?
